Wave is a cloud phone system (or a “hosted phone system”). This means all the software that runs the phone system is based in a data centre, with calls being delivered into your office via an internet connection. This removes the need for a local PBX on-site, which helps to offer additional flexibility.

Yes, Wave can be accessed from both your computer and mobile phone from our ‘softphone’ applications. This allows you to access all the features of your office phone from these devices, such as making outbound calls from your usual office number. This makes Wave perfect for remote or hybrid working, as calls can be answered and made from anywhere.

As long as we have a porting agreement in place with your current provider, we will be able to move over your current telephone numbers. Our experienced team will be on hand to help you complete the necessary porting documentation and manage the order through this process. To have your numbers ported, select the Number Porting product when you buy your Wave licenses to start the process.

Yes, you can upgrade Wave licences within the Control Panel. Each upgrade comes with additional minutes that can be used across your account, meaning you can upgrade individual licences to gain access to more minutes. The cost of upgrading will be added to your new bill automatically the next time you receive your bill.
